　つくばコンベンションビューローは、つくば市及び賛同会員による官民共同の任意団体であり、コンベンションの誘致・支援を目的に設立された組織であります。
　国際会議観光都市である、つくば市・土浦市は、水郷・筑波国定公園の指定を受けた筑波山や霞ヶ浦を有する豊かな自然に恵まれた地域である一方で、約３００の研究機関が立地する我が国最大のサイエンスシティ筑波研究学園都市という面も持ち合わせています。
　１９９９年「つくば国際会議場」がオープンし、コンベンションシティとしてのハード面の充実、整備された最高のコンベンション開催地としてさまざまなサービスを提供しております。

Tsukuba Convention Bureau is a voluntary Association organized in public-private partnership by members from Tsukuba Cities and by those members who approve and support it; its aim is to invite and support conventions.
Tsukuba/Tsuchiura Cities are not only internationally accepted tourist & international convention cities with rich natural beauty spots such as Mt.Tsukuba and Lake Kasumigaura which are designated as the Suigo-Tsukuba Quashi-National Park; but also they have another aspect: They constitute the Tsukuba Science City which is the largest in Japan with about 300 research institutions.
Tsukuba International Convention Center was opened in 1999 and offers the service that is various as substantiality of a hard aspect as a convention city,the best convention site got ready.
