Tsukuba EXPO'85 Memorial Foundation was established to commemorate Tsukuba EXPO'85，which was held in 1985．The Foundation is working for young generation's better understanding of science and technology through various activities at Tsukuba Expo Center，which is one of leading science museums in Japan．The Foundation is also playing a substantial role in promoting intra and inter-national and cultural exchange in Tsukuba Science City，which forms a leading R&D area in Japan and many private，academic and governmental organizations put their research laboratories there.
